CADD 1,2,3

This culminating class will take students into a few of the advanced features of SolidWorks that make them a more effective drafter and designer. After the introduction CADD 2, students will hone skills in larger assemblies and drawings while designing products in CADD 3. This coruse will have students working in between the CADD lab and Manufacturing lab in a team environment. Students will be welding, cutting, and finishing full products of their own design. In the spring, CADD 3 students have traveled to Milwaukee for the annual Industry Tour. Good attendance is critical to success in this course.

What you learn: How to use the programs autocadd/solid works and designing and building in the shop.

How long of a class is CADD: CADD 1 and 2 are year long classes with a 1 hour period each. CADD 3 is a year long class with 2 hour blocks.

Fills requirement: These classes can be used as 1 math credit, 1 science or 1 art.

Future/College: This class is good for futures involving design such as something like architecture.
