Pre-Calculus

This course includes the study of periodic functions and their relationships to mathematics. A study of those functions will lead into further study of mathematics, which enables the students to solve problems dealing with triangles, polar coordinates, complex numbers, etc. Also included is the study of linear and non-linear equations and their related graphs. These equations will be investigated using traditional Cartesian methods and also with vectors. This course is used to prepare students for college mathematics and the study of calculus. Students who are planning to enter fields in mathematics and related scientific areas are strongly recommended to enroll in this course.
