Graduation Requirement: English must be taken every year 9-12

Students are required to take English all four years of high school. In addition, there is a Creative Writing class for students who want to learn more about writing stories and poetry. Students have the option to take Honors English 11 instead of English 11. As Seniors, students can earn college English credit through a combination course of English 12 and Northern Michigan University: EN111.
